Welcome to Kauai My Way!

Kauai My Way is a labor of love. I’m Kimi, writer and self proclaimed Kauai addict. I always wanted to visit Hawaii, so when my husband and I finally decided to take a once in a lifetime trip for our 30th Anniversary, I started doing a little research. Kauai seemed like the island that would best suit our taste, so we booked our first trip. The rest, as they say, is history!

I immediately fell in love with the island and all it has to offer. We didn’t partake in any tours or high ticket activities. Instead, we drove around exploring the island, strolling the beaches, and delighting in the food. Once I returned home all I could think about was returning to Kauai. And since then we’ve been back, again and again. So when I decided to start writing again, it only made sense for me to write about something I love so much and that I could share that love with fellow Kauai enthusiasts.

It’s my goal to make sure your first (or next) trip to Kauai is the best one yet! It’s my belief that although jam packing a vacation with back to back activities might work for some, it certainly doesn’t work for all of us. Especially if you are older, have limited mobility, or just aren’t interested in activities like hiking and zip lining.

The beauty of Kauai is the real prize, and experiencing the cuisine, culture and people is a gift. Relax, dip your toes in the water, have some good eats, and connect with your partner, family, friends, yourself or God. Whatever your reason for visiting Kauai, I guarantee you will enjoy the experience and no doubt be changed when you leave. Kauai has a way of calling you back, again and again.
